Bespoke Furniture

Handmade bespoke wooden furniture crafted in the National Forest, Leicestershire

Handmade furniture built to your brief, from locally sourced National Forest timber.

There's something different about a piece of furniture that was made specifically for your space, from wood that came from a tree you can trace back to a particular woodland. That's what bespoke means here — not just made-to-measure, but made with a story.

Working from your brief, I design and build furniture to fit your space and your life. From dining tables and side tables to storage, shelving, and statement pieces, each commission is discussed in detail before any wood is touched. I'll talk you through timber species, finish options, and construction approach so the end result is exactly what you had in mind.

Timber comes from as close to home as possible — wood I've felled and milled myself in the National Forest, other local woodland operations in the area, or reputable local merchants where the commission calls for a specific species. Wherever it comes from, the timber is worked by hand in my shed in North West Leicestershire, and no two pieces will ever look exactly alike.

Lead times vary depending on the complexity of the piece and current workload. Please get in touch early if you have a particular deadline in mind.
